Community Based Resources For Effective Science learning

Introduction

           A community resources is anything that has the potential to improve the quantity of life in a community according to the community tool box from the university of Kansas. Potential community resources include organisations, places, services, businesses and individuals.
Traditional community resources start with organisation that focus on helping people,  such as support groups and poverty outreach groups,  but the definition of community resources is much broader. It includes public services, such as libraries and post office, gathering place such as community centres, and churches and business that serve the community by providing jobs and easy access to necessary products.

ONLINE ASSESSMENT AND COMPETENCY ENHANCEMENT AVENUES

           Online assessment is also known as electronic assessment , e-assessment , computer mediated assessment and computer based assessment , is the use of information technology in various forms of assessment such as educational assessment , health assessment , Psychiatric assessment and psychological assessment. This may utilise an online computer connected to a network. Several types of online assessment include multiple choice, online submission , computerised adaptive testing and computerised classification testing.
            Online competency assessment is a practical list, presented as an online form , that details for dyers the  skills they are required to perform and the expected of performance. Online competency assessments can be used for a variety of purposes. Such as:
  • Administrating certification test 
  • Conducting training needs analysis
  • Conducting performance reviews
  • Self assessment tools for employee
           Online assessment is a procedure by which specific abilities for characteristics can be evaluated via the environment of internet Such assessments are most frequently used in the area of personal selection , in order to determine how suitable a candidate is for a specific job.

             The book Environmental Education was written by V.K.Rao and R.S.Reddy. 
       
             The primary goal of preparing this book is to present a balanced view of the diversity of issues that relate to the environmental education and to provide the fundamental information that will allow student to understand the complexities of those issue. To other goal of preparing these volumes is to focus on underlying principles and the advances in understanding that have  characterised will help each student establish a base of  general knowledge about environmental issues from which rational, educated, political for opinions and can be fashioned independently.

2.MODERN METHODS OF TEACHING BIOLOGY 

              The book Modern Methods of Teaching Biology is written by D.D.Aggerwal.
